Shannon Hall ’20

Mahone Bay, NS | PhD, Medical Neuroscience

Hi there! I’m an almost-at-the-end PhD student currently studying how lack of sleep affects the structure and function of the brain (both personally and professionally, it seems). After my PhD, I’m interested in pursuing a career in science communication and using my passion for art and design to portray complex scientific concepts. In my free time, I enjoy graphic design, video games, and being a cat-mom to my new kitten! You can find me on Twitter @shanniesci sharing grad school memes, cat photos, and talking about the science of sleep.
